Q: Upon arrival on Hatteras Island, when will I be able to enter

our rented vacation home?

A: We try our best to have all homes sparkling clean by 5:00 p.m.

Give us a call when you arrive on the island, for an update on the status of your vacation cottage.

Q: What do I do if my home isn't ready?

A: You're on Hatteras Island, and the ocean and sound are waiting.

So why not go take a dip in their cool waters? And there is

always a local gift shop, or art gallery,close by. Plus many other wonderful things to do and see.

Q: Do I need to bring bed linens with me?

A: That all depends on the home. Please check upon

making reservations to see if they are supplied. We do

offer bedding at an extra charge to the renter.

Q: What do I do if I check in and find a maintenance issue?

A: Hatteras Helping Hands is here for you 24/7. Just give

us a call and we'll send someone over as soon as possible

to fix, repair, or replace, whatever it is that isn't working.

That simple.

Q: Who do I ask for general questions about my stay on the island?

A: Most of the answers to your questions, can be found right in your

rental home. Hatteras Helping Hands, provides each cottage

with an informational binder full of things to do, places to go,

and things to see. It even gives info on what to do during

hurricane evacuations, beach driving, and even where to go in case of a medical emergency.

Q: What if I leave something behind?

A: Just give us a call and one of our inspectors will

go to the cottage, retrieve your item, and ship them

straight to you. There will be a shipping and handling charge

along with a $10 mileage fee.
